Launching in the dramatically re-emerging cultural mecca of Nashville, Benjamin Vandiver founded a full-service interior design and lifestyle brand in 2012. Keeping up with growing client demands, a second studio was opened in early 2016 in New York City. Known for building candid and deep relationships with clients, Mr. Vandiver is also garnering a reputation as a refined aesthete, with his finger firmly on the collective pulse. Harper's Bazaar, Garden & Gun, House Beautiful, 1st Dibs, Luxe and Domaine Home have all given their nod of approval along with Vogue magazine and Architectural Digest who named Vandiver "One to Watch", the most-coveted honor for a new designer.
Since its inception in 2012, the firm has accepted and completed nearly 50 projects, with over a dozen jobs currently under way in Nashville, New York and Los Angeles. His approach is simple and unique: we act as a chameleon for our already remarkable clients. His natural, aesthetically rich style works seamlessly with the individuals he works with - a dazzling roster of clients ranging from provincial bigwigs to internationally renowned icons like heavyweight Wladamir Klitchko and fiancè Hayden Panettiere, actress Connie Britton, American film producer Paula Wagner, along with Kings of Leon co-founder and drummer Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin.
Founder Benjamin Vandiver has spent a lifetime pursuing artistic expression and with a more-than-capable team's worth of experience in everything from conception, remodeling, space planning to styling, BVIL is well equipped to handle projects of all shapes and sizes, concepts bold and refined. BVIL's aesthetic deliberately cannot be categorized as one specific expression. We instead rely on the classic tenets of luxury and quality combined with exceptional taste that can only come from experience and a finely honed instinct.
